For all of the internet sites I go on to meet men (and believe me there are quite a few), one that I honestly never use is Craigslist. However, I do occasionally browse the Missed Connections section. The purpose of this section, for anyone who doesn’t know, is to provide a way for two people who have had a “Missed Connection” to find each other: someone you made eye contact with on a subway platform, someone you saw at another table at a restaurant while dining, someone you shared an elevator with on the way to work. Usually, however, the circumstances prove to be much more humorous, especially in the M4M section. Everything from “We were touching each other in the sauna at the gym” to… well, to the following, which was actually posted last month. I didn’t change a word.
we had diarrhea in neighboring stalls about 10 minutes ago - m4m - 27 (Chelsea)

we were both in the men's room in our office in the meatpacking district and had simultaneous bouts of explosive diarrhea - disgusting, yes, but also i felt a connection to you when we exited the stalls. sorry i didn't give you my name but would love to connect. also what in god's name did you eat last night???
I. Can't.
ReplyDeleteI really need work to slow down so I can get back on those M4M missed connections. I bet they were great the day after the prop 8 demonstrations!
