This Pretty Much Sums Up My Attempts in the Kitchen

There are several things in life I have never claimed to be good at. Math is one of them. Playing navigator with a road map is another. The most humorous of them all however is probably cooking.

Cooking and I have a long history together. When I was little, I thought I wanted to be a chef. Sadly tossing some lettuce around in a bowl was not enough to make me one then and I doubt I've actually come much further in my baking abilities.

With the exception of ramen noodles, cupcakes (which are delicious by the way--this is really the only thing I can bake so I guess the fates allowed me to bake them extremely well), and those amazing  little Pillsbury holiday cookies with a pumpkin/christmas tree/heart in the middle (depending on the season), the only thing I ever consistently seem to make in the kitchen is a mess. And several underdone or overcooked attempts at "meals."

I found this video on youtube the other week and I have to say that I pretty much share similar views when it comes to cooking.  Only I know what a turkey is. And I could never attempt meatloaf because I have a thing about touching raw meat.
