Actually, maybe it's the blue ones...

Jon,

When you went shopping last night, I hope you went ahead and picked up one of those large sacks of M&Ms. Because there's about to be a run on them.

In case you all didn't hear, scientists have discovered that blue M&Ms can reduce spinal injuries. Well, not the M&Ms of course, but, rather, the dye that makes them that pretty, pretty blue. Totally random, but hey, I love excuses to eat more candy.

Perhaps they should start packaging sacks of just blue M&Ms and send them out to rehabilitation centers? I mean, I can't help it, they've got my marketing mind on overdrive. They should certainly get the news out. Not just because people will eat them, but because it's a cute angle they can use.

I mean, it's been a while since they even bothered talking about blue M&Ms.

Since that old commercial, all they've told us is that the green ones make you horny.

Now all they have to do is prove that Reese's Peanut Butter cures cancer and I'll be set!

Oh, and PS: the one side effect of the blue dye is that it might turn you blue. Which is kind of cool too, I think.

  1. God, I used to walk around singing that "Yes it's true/ We're totally blue" jingle as a kid. I kinda wish it were a full song.
