honesty
Sometimes I really wonder if I’m too honest with my boss. She is a super cool mellow boss that I consider a friend. We often grab an after work drink at the bar across the street from our office and bullshit. Sometimes I will sit in her office and chat for about an hour or so during the work day. But I am kind of thinking that sometimes I am too honest with her. She is home sick today and I just sent her a text saying that I am planning on not being very productive today, but I will get a few things done. WTF was I thinking? Thank god Rhonda is cool.

It's awesome that you have a great relationship with your boss. Many times bosses are assholes because they're getting pressure from above them. Hopefully, she doesn't get into a situation where your openness with her (b/c there's def a difference between honesty and openness) is detrimental to your employment.
